Creative Supervision

Embodied, Creative & Energy Psychotherapy Supervision: An Integrative Practice

Do you often leave your supervision sessions feeling inadequate, as if you haven't changed much as a person or as a therapist?

Do you wish to find a supervisor who will encourage your personal as well as professional growth? Creativity and embodied awareness can offer deep insights that might transform your view of yourself and your practice.

I've had different supervisors, and felt all of those feelings in supervision. I also had fantastic supervisors who didn't clip my wings, encourage me to work following my intuition, and support my human failures with compassion.

With a range of experiences in supervision and in therapy, I created an embodied and creative supervision model that will best speak to those who wish to develop further their own working style; who are sensitive, creative, and spiritual; and who are open to personal growth. One of my first supervisors said: "You are the tool." I've never forgotten it. It is not what you do, but who you are.

Integrating Your Alternative Wisdom

Often, that feeling of "being inadequate or not having changed much" as a therapist comes from a sense of fragmentation,of knowing other ways and not knowing how to integrate them. If you are one of those practitioners that carry a rich background in alternative healing (chakra work, tapping, shamanism or somatic practices) hiddenfor fear of "breaking the rules", you are in the right place.

When you leave your alternative wisdom at the door, you are only bringing half of yourself to the room.

I specialise in online energy psychotherapy supervision, helping you bring your full self. I provide a safe, ethically-grounded container where you can explore how to weave your "alternative" insights into your practice. My goal is to help you move beyond the doubts by finding an integration that feels authentic to you and safe for your clients.

Supervision Can Be Playful and Deep

In supervision, a mix of serious reflection and creative explorations can create opportunities for growth and insights. It shows you that supervision can be playful and enlivening, while still maintaining the depth and seriousness required for ethical and effective practice.

This is how:

  • Embodied Supervision: Our bodies hold so much wisdom. You can discover hidden meanings in your sensations, just by being asked about how your body feels as you talk about something, or in front of a person. I would also share how I feel, what experiences in my body feel important to what is being discussed.

  • Creative Supervision: Imagine being an animal, or an object, and talk to your client as that animal or object (not in the room with them, just in supervision!) Imagine you and your client end up in a desert island, how would your relationship look like? Gain awareness about the relationship that both you and your client are creating in a safe, non-judgemental space.

  • Transpersonal Supervision: You can learn ways of protecting yourself and avoid compassion fatigue with energy techniques. You can share your spiritual experiences while at work without being met with judgement, and speak about your dilemmas regarding a clients spiritual dilemmas, such as not having a purpose.

  • Muscle Testing: If you are an energy psychotherapist, energy psychologist, or use EFT/tapping in your practice and are open to explore distance muscle testing as an aid for online supervision, we can both use it, and gain insights.
