alda's CREATivE corner
In this creative corner, I share with you different pieces of the mosaic that is my creative life. This page isn't just about art, but about how I use creativity to release the emotional charge of past wounds, demonstrating my creative energy therapy approach, truly integrative.
Once, an artist and a good friend of mine told me that she used her art to express her sadness. She inspired me to do the same. Each mosaic I make tells its own story. As I create them, a surge of deep emotions come to the surface, ready to be transformed, and release, similar to the release of the emotional charge achieved with energy psychology.
My poetry dates from times when I used it for soothing, understanding, and deepening my process of growth. For the Highly Sensitive Person (HSP) and the homesick globetrotters, finding safe containers for strong feelings is vital, and these arts offer me the regulation and containment skills I bring to every session.
I invite you to explore this space with an open heart. If my mosaics bring you joy and my poems breathe hope into your suffering, if you resonate with my sensitive soul, then we are possibly a good fit to work together.

Tree of Life
This mosaic was created with the intention of bringing hope and healing to an Multiple Sclerosis (MS) sufferer. The tree of life symbolises the interconnectedness of all things, growth and rebirth, spiritual connection, and family lineage. These are common themes in my trauma treatments with Energy psychology.

Castell
This mosaic is inspired by the works of Galician comedian, cartoonist and writer, Castelao. It is an exploration of the Galician "morriña" (=homesickness) felt by ex-pats from North West Spain. It also dives into the sense of rootedness found in one's creative work, demonstrating internal belonging.

Arañaki
This mosaic depicts a Celtic Spider Web, exploring the intricate aspects of a spiritual and psychological life. The web shows how everything is interlinked and beautifully connected, full of mystery, various paths, twists and turns, and at its core, our humanity. This vision is central to my work with the themes of belonging and sensitivity. At its core, following the threat of these themes lead us to our shared humanity.
